i take care of peoples pets at their home when they are out of town / walk dogs / feed dogs and cats.
The first thing to decide is what pet sitting business entity structure to select. There is a sole proprietor, a partnership or a corporation or LLC. If you are a sole proprietor/owner, you will need a pet sitting business license (business tax registration occupational business license). If you also use a business name to do business, you also need a DBA (Doing Business As). However, if you incorporate or form an LLC, you do not need to register your business name because the LLC name will be your business name.If you will sell any type of merchandise or pet sitting item in small or large amounts, you will need a Tax ID (sales Tax License ). If decide to hire help, you will need a federal EIN and a state employer ID. |
